Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Wow! what a dierence a week makes. The water was up to 2 degrees colder and really murky. I didn't help that there was a 6 oot tide today either, or that a storm was rolling in, or that the wind was really blowing. On the water at 6:00 and had my irst bite about an hour later, missed it. Nothing or the next 4 hours. I tried everything everywhere. Finally threw out the drop shot and had a limit in about an hour. Nothing big 2lb was the biggest. Then the bite shut down. Not another bite all day. I cranked, bladed and threw the jig. Hey Roger i you read this sorry I missed you today(Sunday) I lost your address and phone number. Hope you did good out there today. Drop me a line or give me a call.
City: Walnut CreekTips: I have been on a solid pattern or about a month, guess the spawn is on and my pattern is not?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Got out to the lake at about 9:00 A.M. Started ishing around channel point where I saw some ish eeding on the surace. I used a shad colored Rat-L-Trap or a while there but didn't get anything. I also tried a shad colored spinnerbait but had no luck with it either. Walked over past the swimming lagoon and tried ishing over there. Didn't get anything though. I saw a bunch o tules moving around and pitched a jig in there with no luck. Walked down some more towards the dam and stopped a little ways past the dock over there. I tied on a shad colored crank bait and started ishing it. On my ith cast I was bringing the lure through some tules and thought I got hung up. So I ripped my bait out o there and I saw a little bass on the end o my line. It was only about 11 in. Tried some more with the crank bait but didn't get anything. Let at 3:00.
City: AntiochTips: The only ish I got came on a shad colored crank bait.

Piru Lake

Water Temp: 57-59
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished Piru today or the irst time in serveral months. I was surprised at how low the water still is. Fished with my sister out o her Bass Cat. Got on the water about 6:45 with the intent o catching some jig&pig ish. Unorturnately ater an hour and no bites my sister picks up her drop shot rod and immediately gets slams but misses the ish. I inally decide to give up the jig and grab my drop shot rod and bammo!! she hooks into a ish. A ew minutes later she lands a at, egg laden 10 lb. 11oz. lunker. We immediately take it over to the marina to be photographed so we can re-release where she caught it.Turned out to be another drop shot day as ater returning the ish where she caught we proceed to catch more ish on the drop shot, although the next largest only being 3 lbs or so. Our best 5 ish would have went about 18 lbs.
City: ParadiseTips: Drop shot on the old water lines in about 15-20 eet o water. Pull your bait uphill till you hit the break, shake it lightly and then let it drop back to the bottom, then hold on.

Report: Sorry this is so late, but still wanted to share some ino. Weekend beore last, the American Bass anglers Club had their tournament at sonoma. Friday was a beautiul day and those that preished just hammered them, but Saturday turned cold and we got a little drizzle on and o. Well you guested it, the bite got tough. While ish were caught all day, the big ish came in at just 3.83lbs, on a brown and purple jig with the tail end o a baby brush hog in junebug. The winning weight was 13.84 by yours truely. Ron Cormier is still on a roll coming in second, ollowed by Hampton Kennon a very close third. For ull results and pictures, go to www.ambassanglers.com
City: Walnut CreekTips: 4" senkos on a 3/0 hook weightless. Cast it near shore on a slack line and watch the line. They took it well, but wait 2 ull second to set the hook. I lost my irst two strikes, so I waited longer to set and it worked great.
