Report: This was my irst time on this lake. We had a club tourney scheduled today but the weather made our launching too risky. Our tourney was cancelled but I decided to wait out the storm and by 9:30 am the weather started to clear up. It turned out to be a beautiul day.Caught 2 spots and 2 largemouth in 30t. o water on dropshots (arrons magic). The ish bit in the evening aroung 5:00 pm and I caught them north o the bridge. At dusk I moved to the bridge and switched to a 10 inch black power worm. I cast it shallow and started to shake it and hooked into a huge ish. Ater a great ight, I boated my personal best..... a 12.7# beauty. What a great lake.
City: morgan hillTips: Rocky drop os near standing timber or the dropshot ish. A big one was cruisin the shore in the evening.

Report: Got on the water at sae light, & headed to the south ork. Started ripping stacy 90's in 20 eet water on rock walls. Ripped or two hours and only caught 4 ish. Switched over to drop & split shot, started catching ish. All ish were 12-15". Let south ork at 1:00p.m., and headed to middle ork. Fished steep rock walls, boat in 40' water. Got on a good worm bite with yamamoto cut tail worms. Was on the water all day. Not a bad day o ishing, 33 ish total, biggest just under two pounds, average ish 13"
City: Rancho CordovaTips: The ish did not seem aggressive. The worm bite was a sot pressure bite. Yamamoto cut tail worms ( smoke blue ) and robo worms ( mourning dawn ) worked best.

Water Temp: 47-53?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished on Sunday 3-16-03, so did a bunch o other people, humm. No ish to be ound, unless your looking or a little un and sun with a touch o rain. It started out slow on south end, ran around a bit about mid-lake and decided to head north young man. That didn't help, so I went to my secret spot you probably know it by the old Oak and the boat near by. Slapped a couple in the head and realized they were being tough, ran home, what up.
City: SeistavilleTips: Oten when ishing in the rain I ind it a great pleasure to take o my rain gear and really enjoy the water spout o lie. Lure, should be picked on mood color-blue or mellow, red or uptight, and silver or quickness. RAt tap tap tap tap............See the lure, be the lure

Water Temp: 55 to 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out o the south boat ramp by 7:00 am, headed straight across to big cove. Paralleled the right bank with a Castaic Trout, no takers. Hit the 2nd cut down the right side and nailed a good 3lb 7oz largemouth in a manzanita tree about ten eet deep on a black/chartreuse jig n pig at 7:15. Cover the rest o the right side throwing a spinnerbait, but to no avail. Scootted over to the let side and say a big school o stripers chasing shad. Creeped into the school and starting throwing a Lucky Crat Bevy Shad and hooked up on 3 landed 2. 7lb 11oz'er and a 7lb 15oz'er, great ights on 8lb test spinning gear. As soon as the cloud cover cleared by 8:15, the stipers went deep and the bass came up chasing and tearing up the shad. Worked a 50 yard strip o bank down the let side about 3 to 12 eet deep, and absolutely slaughtered the smallies and largies with the Bevy Shad, trout color. Pulled 5 smallies going rom 2lb 2oz to a nice 3lb 6oz. Nailed 7 largemouth rom 2lb 5oz to a eeding emale that went 4lb 9oz. At one point I had 4 ish on 4 casts. Let big cove at about 11:00 and ran down to the mouth o the river, a little muddier and colder water, no bites. Ran up to barn cove and caught a smallie and largie on the bevy shad and 2 on a white/silver spinnerbait with silver and copper blades. All ish were in the 2lb to 3lb range. O the water by 1:00 and had boated 6 smallies, 10 largemouths and 2 stipers. The best day I have ever had anywhere or poundage and quality, 5 ish limit went 19lbs 2ozs.
City: UkiahTips: Fish the coves, the bass are eeding on anything they can get right now, i you locate shad you will ind ish not ar.

Report: Fished the McCloud and lower Sac. arms this week, and ound good ishing in both. Lake is rising, up about 8 eet since Thursday, and now 25 eet rom the top. Some debris in both arms o the lake, but not too bad as ar as I went. Some o-color water past Hirtz Bay ater the last storm. Found ish in a variety o places and depths. Monday I ished light and shallow, 10-12 eet. Tuesday I was invited to ish with a riend or a lesson on deeper ish with heavier jigs. I appreciate the help in learning dierent presentations- some day the ish won't have a chance!! I caught ish on white/white blades, Lucky Crat rip baits, worms, Kalin grubs, and Townsend jigs with Yamamoto trailers. Didn't try any crankbaits. No secret baits- same colors many people are getting at Phil's. Interesting note, quite a ew o the ish yesterday were smallmouth-especially the early rip ish.

Report: My son and I launched boat about 5:45pm with high hopes and only 2 other trailers in parking lot. We started ishing near the spillway heading into a sti breeze. Caught 2 small bass on senko midway into cove. Scot caught 2 on brown power worm and then switched to 6" black and caught some more up to 2.5 lbs. No action in the back o the coves headed back out to the points and switched to split shot, as temperature was dropping and moon had popped out o clouds. Picked up a ew on points and had about 10 ish in 4 hours with the best 4.2. Fishing with my son at Amador at night with a ull moon, hoping his next bite is a 10 lber, is worth $28.00!
City: FolsomTips: Due too dropping temperatures we downsized and caught some ish, I hope I can remember that at the next tourney.

Ran up squaw creek and that is the reason or this report, got to the monday lat area and had to get o plane, I have never seen the squaw creek arm this stacked up in debris. There is some big stu up there and it continued all the way to the top, had 11, mostly small, all on jigs with one tht went 2.5 and it was a smallmouth. lower pit also hazardous especially with a little wind blowing the water over the waterlogged big stu coming downstream. Water Temp: 53.5-55-4
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished in the storm on Sunday aternoon and had one o the best trips on the Delta ever.It would hail one minute, thunder and lightning the next and then the sun would come out; great rainbows. I picked up two over 7lbs, a 7.6 and 7.3, one 5.3 and 5 or 6 in 2-3 pound range. I had a irst also , a dink maybe 6 inches long with suicidal ideations attacked a 9X senko. The 7.6 came on the last cast o the day, couldn't think o a better way to end a day, on a baby brush hog( watermelon red )texas riged in 14 oot o water. The 7.3 on a #297 senko 9X and the 5.3 on a 3/8th oz black jig with purple pork, liping in 2-3 eet o water. Everything else on a #222 colored 9 series senko and a 3/8 th oz warbird spinnerbait, white. And I ask mysel why the He-- I go to Folsom lake, humm.
City: Sacramento,Tips: Remember the lightning storms . We don't have alot o the here, unlike South Carolina, thereore remember when you are standing on the ront deck lipping with your new loomis graphite lipping stick and lurocarbon line you look like a lightning rod waiting to be lit up. There were several times when I had to stop ishing, no ish is worth dying or. I can't think o a better way to go unless perhaps packing an elk out o some alpine bowl, but then again I would miss next season. Common Sense-- THINK.
