Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Zack,
What are you talking about? Are you trying to post a fishing report? I am trying to get a summary of what is working and your post does not help. The last thing I need to hear is from some bike rider that thinks they own the road. Not my fault you can't play a real sport. Thanks for nothing, I am just glad that I didn't get stuck in that mess.
City: Morgan HillTips: Keep your Lance Armstrong wannabe comments to yourself and post fishing related material. Thanks to Jigman for the report, what a mess that must have been.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: It was a tough day for me. The conditions were perfect for spinner bait and jerk bait. The problem was that the fish didn't get the word. I struggled for 4 fish. Caught one on spinner bait in a cove on wood, one on the main lake in shallow grass, and the rest on a point on a carolina grub. I didn't get anything on crank but only tried lipless. Nothing on jerk or top water.
City: Foster CityTips: It may have been the fact that there were a ton of water ski boats out or it may have been that I stayed up too late the night before and could not concentrate or it could have been that the fish took the weekend off. I don't really know. If you didn't get your season pass on Sunday, the prices just went up. When I got out of the water at 3:30, there was a half hour conga line of boats still waiting to launch (not pull out). A zoo for sure. Lots of people with big shinny new boats and no clue on proper boat launch procedures. Good luck. Ski season is in full swing.

Water Temp: 65-68
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Tough once again. Hoped to have some weather coming our way but the sky was clear and sun was shining. Went over to Uvas only to find that they were having a tri athalon. What a cluster that was. Finally got to Anderson at about 8:40, so we were pretty screwed. Every yahoo with a ski boat was out there and I got to witness some of the worst boat operations imaginable. Anyway, back to fishing. Started out ripping and topwater with no success. Went to c-rig on points and got a couple. Ended up getting most of the fish cranking in about 6-10 ft of water. Tried a lot of stuff but the crank seemed to get em.
City: San CarlosTips: You can always find fish here moving around but I can't find the quality that would be nice.

Water Temp: 64-66
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Nice weather, not a lot of wake makers, fished with the Paulboro Man, so all in all a fun day. No size but a gaggle of fish. Got em on rip bait, crank, c-rig, t-rig, drop shot, jig, tudbe, and I think that's it. Hard to pattern but once again moved around and fished a lot of spots. Still had to work for em and couldn't find a pattern that would yeild anything big.
City: San CarlosTips: Move around a lot. Not marking a lot of bait or fish that are staked up so we had to find active fish.

Water Temp: 61
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished 8am -1pm and Overall it was tough for me, I really had to work for it. Got 8 fish on 5 baits, obviously couldn't figure it out. Got em deep (15ft) and got em shollow, couldn't find any consistent pattern. Kind of wished it would have rained a bit, but it was nice out there. 2 on a buzzbait, 2 on a trap, 2 on C-rig BBH, 1 on split shot and 1 on a senko. Biggest probably a little over 2 lbs with only one short thrown in the mix.
City: San CarlosTips: Nothing really that would help, but once I could'nt get bit more than once in a great looking area, I moved. I would pretty much get one fish and then move and catch another elsewhere. Cover water.

Water Temp: 57
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Tough day. Caught 10 bass - largest 2lbs. Caught them on 4 baits. 1 senko, 3 spinner bait, 4 rip bait, 2 carolina rig. Only pattern if you could call it that would be grass lines on the main lake in 15 ft of water. Could not get anything up shallow and nothing in the coves. It rained on and off all day.
City: Foster CityTips: Keep throwing different baits at them and keep moving. My best luck came along the main lake shoreline.

Water Temp: 58-64
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water at about 1 pm, did well on the south end. All between 1-3 lbs on a junebug senko. The bite was best when it was raining, when the rain stopped so did the bite.
City: Los GatosTips: Fish tight cover- lots of fallen oaks that hold schools of bass....mostly small though.

Water Temp: 60-63.4
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Tuesday on a windy sunny day with my wifeon our new Ranger. Caught 16 total with 15 coming on Little Beavers pitched tight to rock corners in shade on the lakes South end. The other came on a split shot bloodline worm on a point. All fish really shallow. Moved off to try and find Grandma but no one home.
City: San JoseTips: Bite Subtle. Know the weight of your line and bait or it will be very frustrating for you.
Draging the bait worked well while hopping did not produce squat

Water Temp: Still cold
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Kayaked south by the bridge and found very few fish in the mood to bite. Mostly small males to 1.5 pounds. The lake got tea colored and cooled off because they did another dump from coyote lake. I don't know if the spawn is going to be very succesful this year because of the way they are managing the two lakes! Wish I had a boat, I would head up north to some of the banks way in the back. The water should be cleaer and the temps more stable at that end of the lake.
Tips: Find the clearer water and you will find a better bite with more agressive fish. North end!
-
Water Temp: 58-62
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Tough day on the pond. I caught fish consistantly all day. ( about three an hour) I don't know how the guys in the tourney did but the north wind blew and made the bite tough. I caught all of the fish in 0-15 feet really tight to the cover. I caught all but one flipping junebug brush hogs in the thick brush and laydown trees. I caught the other one,a two pounder, crawling a crankbait slowly along the bottom. I was surpirsed that the water temp was still so cold.
City: San JoseTips: With the front that moved in and all the wind, it made the fish move tight to the cover. Work the plastics methodically through the cover, if you feel anything different, set the hook. All the bites were really subtle. Good luck!

Water Temp: 57?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Good news bad news. Good news was I caught 12 bass up to 2.5 lbs very quickly in the morning. The bad news was that I spent the next 3 hrs catching nothing but the wind. Morning was overcast and calm after the storms on Fri. I started with spinner bait and picked up 4 up shallow on wood right away. Knowing there was a reaction bite I swithed to a rip bait and picked up 8 more fish between 2-10 ft deep. Then the north wind started to blow very hard and it all ended like throwing a light switch. The real good news is that I didn't have any rattlesnakes decide to join me in the back of my boat like last weekend.
City: Foster CityTips: Start with reaction baits in the grass lines shallow. If nothing bites start working deeper with plastics. If a north wind kicks up head for the house - it is over. I have heard there is a tourny on Anderson this weekend. I will stay clear of that much fishing pressure and go to DelValle for some bigger fish.

Water Temp: cool
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The water is way up! Tons of trees underwater, its crazy. It looks like a whole new lake. Fished east side of the lake just north of woodchoppers. Caught 6 bass, mist a lot of fish too. All between 1 and 2 pounds. Fishing is pretty damn good. Caught them all on a Texas rigged Yamamato Cut Tail worm. Fish were really shallow. I caught them all in 1 to 5 feet of water. Didn't think they would be so shallow yet. Wanted to try the west side of the lake cuz it looked like there was a lot more new cover across from woodchoppers but didnt feel like paddling so far in my float tube.
City: Morgan HillTips: shallow

Water Temp: 57
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing was good. Caught 4 carolina brush hog fish early off a point in 15 ft. Moved to a grass line and picked up 5 rip bait fish. Switched to spinner bait and caught 6 all on wood. Biggest was 3lbs on the spinner bait.
Now for the most unusual thing that I have ever experienced in years of fishing. I had seen a snake in the middle of a cove I was fishing that swam away when I cast my spinner bait across its back. After fishing the cove I went to the back of my Bass Tracker to check to see if I needed the bilge pump. When I reached for my back hatch I saw movement about 10" from my hand. It was a damn rattlesnake, ready to strike. It had crawled in my boat and wrapped around the base of my Merc. I yelled at two guys in a Ranger that I had a rattlesnake in my boat. They thought I was crazy until I trolled over next to them. They freaked. I wanted their help in case I got snake bit. I used my long pole aft running light to uncoil this 4ft beast and send him swimming to shore. First rattler I had ever seen in water. I think he was attacted to my warm engine because he did not want to leave.
City: Foster CityTips: When they quit hitting a lure don't hesitate to switch. The fish were agressive and wanted a reaction bait once the water warmed and the wind picked up. Also, if you see a snake in the water don't take your eye off him until you know he is well clear of your boat. If they have an arrow shaped head (poisionous) and rattles on the tail give it some extra room.
-
Water Temp: 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Good numbers day. Couldn't start the motor and had some length electrical problem so could only use trolling motor, in fact couldn't get the motor back up and had to drive home w/ it 6 inches from ground (not fun). Fished for about 3 hrs with finder and bilge going in and out but managed 10+, biggest going 2+ (had to only fish about 300 yards of shore). Got two rip fish and the rest dropshotting. Wish we could have hit more water.
City: San CarlosTips: If you want to put some fish in the boat, throw the dropshot. Move to a litte deeper water to get a bit more size. Rip fish are there but would have liked to throw the jig more than I did but hard to get strategic when you can't move around. Good day though.

Water Temp: 57
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Nice day with calm water and very few ski boats. Caught 14 bass in the 1.5 to 2lbs range. All were caught on points in 15 ft early and then 30 ft late in the day. No reaction bite. All fish taken on a carolina rig brush hog and a split shot lizzard. Could not find any shallow fish.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish the bank to 16 ft early with soft plastics. Move deeper when the bite at that depth slows. Soft plastics on points where you can feel some vegitation.
-
Water Temp: approx. 55 degr
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Plenty of smallish males from 3 feet to 12 feet deep. A couple of 3 pound females at around 10 feet deep. No wind and a day full of action yielding over 30 bass for me and over 25 for my budy float-tubing the south end with Senkos. Most fish were found hovering on the top of brush/weeds. They are HUNGRY and the females will be up very soon. But the water is still a little cold.
City: San JoseTips: No weight and keep working the top of the brushlines as slow as you can. Guys fishing blades and crankbaits were not catching as near as many as we were with plastic.
