Water Temp: 77 to 79
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Headed out to Folsom for Fathers day. Father-In-Law down from Oregon for the weekend. Started out around Granite in the trees. Caught a few to 2.5#s. Then up north past the 5's to get away from all the lake lice. Sorry water rat, I call it like I see it and they are all idiot lake lice. Anyway, drop shotting around trees up north caught about 15 more fish nothing over 2.5 #s. My Mother in law wanted some fish to eat so for the first time ever, I took five of the little ones home to filiet up for her to make some fish tacos.
Tips: Fish the Shady sides of the trees. and watch out for the idiot lake lice.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I would have to agree with Bobby about the Lake Lice at Folsom. Some of them (please note that I say some) have absolutly no respect for anyone else on the lake. Many a time I have been fishing in a 5 mile zone only to have a yahoo in a ski boat go flying through with his music blasting not aware that he has almost thrown me from my boat. He probably didn't even know that I was there. There are a ton of great people that use Folsom and respect everyone there......there is always a few that ruin it for everyone!
City: SacramentoTips: Take a kid fishing......he'll probably fish better than your tournament partner! Sorry......could not resist it!

Water Temp: 70+
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Hey Dude at least I give my name...I won't take up to much space here because the other fishermen don't need to hear this(this will be my last posting).I was making for a fun story line a funny posting, C'mon dude I know that this is a state park in the middle of three large cities and that it is open to anybody..And, by the way, I am not overweight in the slightest. My body fat is around 14% and I keep in shape..I too have kids that I take fishing with me and it makes it difficult to survive let alone fish a small point when skiers are flying by you at top speeds in the 5 mile zone may I have you..The story line was all in fun and I do apologize to anyone that may have been affended by my comments...Tight lines and take your kids to a safe place to fish.

Water Temp: perfect for wak
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: "Conituned to fish the North side because the South is loaded with watre Rats, you name it they have it. Jet skis, Ski boats pulling skiers, pulling tubes, pulling thinga-ma-bob's, and wanta-be ski boats just pulling anybody brave enough to hold on for their lives. Back to the fishing.."
Bobby - Why must you refer to others that use Folsom State Park as water rats? You are giving myself, and other that are bass fisherman a bad name by doing so. How would you feel if somebody refered to you as some overweight fat tourney guy that when faced with bass vs. family chooses bass.
City: Folsom, CATips: C'mpn Bobby...It's summertime at Folsom Lake. What did you expect? Find a lake that has designated 5 mph zones and fish them during this time of year.

Water Temp: 70-71
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of the Marina on the Folsom side because it's the only ramp that has docks above water. Water level very high, Browns Revine boat dock is under water which it more difficult to launch when you're the lone ranger. Proceeded to the South arm first cove fished for 2 hours no fish. Marked a lot of bait but fish just not active. Moved across to the North side and landed a 3lb spot on a 194 Senko(my fishingg buddy hates it when I use numbers instead of colors) but it makes for a more interesting story. Conituned to fish the North side because the South is loaded with watre Rats, you name it they have it. Jet skis, Ski boats pulling skiers, pulling tubes, pulling thinga-ma-bob's, and wanta-be ski boats just pulling anybody brave enough to hold on for their lives. Back to the fishing..Proceeded up the North arm near the Pennsula(can't see it because it to is under water)Fished some rocky secondary points using a dart head with an Iovino Peanut Butter and Jelly 6in worm when the line goes dead pull. I thought I was snagged--but no after 20 minutes of fighting this fish that won't surface, I finally win the battle when i bring her to the surface and it's a 15lb Catfish..I'm thinking instant release but she's got the damn hook in her. I pull her in weigh her and release the beast for future anglers(you're all welcome). Winds started howling out of the North at @10 -15 miles an hour(weather only said 7- But they're never wrong?)and it felt like I was on the Fricking Delta. I love my home body of water but the wind can drive you off in a hurry. Off the water by 2pm..Better luck next time--Yeh, I have said that before! Tight lines and watch out for water RATS!
City: EDHTips: Catch and release all Catfish!

Water Temp: 85-90
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Ryan McKinley and I hit the water after the 4 th hoping to find no lake lice. The winds were light and the lake was clear for a short time. Leaving Granite Bay at noon and jettin up the North Fork looking for some nice points we stoped at a large rock pile just right of Anderson Island. Watching my new color graph Lowrance x102c, we found some large bait balls with some larggies around. We started with drop shots and a 2" plastic, bouncing the bait up and down, shaking and sitting we got two spots. Leaches around the sermerged rocks worked for two largies and two crappie. Went deeper just in front of that rock in 20-35 ft with a 4" lizards green pumkin split shot style. drug around the rocks finding some small spots.
City: rocklinTips: work it slow and slower.

Water Temp: 70-74
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: My wife and I went to Folsom today. I don't know the lake very well so I was doing some exploring. This was my first time there in a boat. Caught two right away in the flooded trees near the peninsula on LC pointer, including a 4.2lb largemouth. Nothing in the south fork. Found a worm bite in the north fork. Bites were really lite pressure bites. I think the fish were still recovering from a rough weekend. Fish were good quality with only one dink.
