Water Temp: Around 58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Well i launched out o Yorty Creek with my Dad. We saw tons o bedding ish right o the bat but only made a eeble attmept to ctach them. (I had one nibble on my lizard, but these ish weren't interested in eeding and i couldn't get them to inhale the lure, just mouth the tail) So i tried the latest ad o drop-shotting, i positioned the boat over submerged brush and dropped it in and shook, nothing. I then shook every tree and point that i could ind and I couldn't get anything. As we pulled into a beautiul cove illed with cover i again proceded to shake some more with no luck, but my ather using the only lure he ever uses (a lead-head jig with a Gary Yamamoto grub) casted right in an brush pile and pulled up about a 1 pounder. Well hmmm, that he did what i have been doing or hours and he gets on the cheap grub while my expensive drop shot rig pulls up jack. A ew minutes later he makes a cast to a much shallower part o the log jam about 6 eet and drags the lure on the bottom slowly, well he pulls up a beey 3 pound bass. Well it inally hit my that these bass have to be on the the bottom, because the suspended worm on the drop shot rig isn't getting any bites. I then moved to a tiny brown terminator jig and pig, but apperantly the bite had stopped. No Luck or me again, what do I have to do to get a bite. Good Luck!

Report: Fished rom 5pm to 8pm Easter Sunday and absolutely kicked butt on them with white/char blades with a black Berkeley power lizard as a trailer. Just take o the head and thread it on. Also scored well with big watermelon/red Zoom brushhogs and Exude watermelon/red brushhogs. Everything came o the lats. You have to ind the lats. I ished the very end o the resevoir going south away rom the dam. Don't ish the steep banks. These ish are big and ull o eggs. They are healthy and ull o ight. All ish caught in 2-3t o water.

Water Temp: 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the river arm with sekos. Good early morning and evening bite. All came on the edges o steep drops. Largest was Walter the trout's large mouth cousin that weighed 10lbs. What a toad - my biggest ever. She swallowed the senko so I had to perorm minor surgery with a pair o dykes to cut the hook in hal and a hemostat to remove the barb. A ist in the mouth was no problem with this monster. She was returned unharmed. Caught another just under 5lbs, a 3.0 and the rest 1.5 0 2.5. Good action on a 5" pumpkin senko, dead sticking ater the cast. Real clear water.
City: Foster CityTips: Only used Senkos and only one color. Be patient and don't overly work the lure. Let it sink but keep some amount o tension on the line to eel the bite. Most swallowed the hook. Dykes needed to cut the hook without damaging the ish. Nose hook the bait will keep the hook out o the ishes stomach. Make long casts because the water is clear.

Report: went out with the wie this late am, in at bailey cove at 1145am, lake at 19.4 t with as much going out as is coming in, ran up to the north end o the McCloud or 5 to 2.2 lbs on the MGM#109 and snapped o the tip o a berkley rod while setting on a 2 lb er, I igure no problem that Strictly Fishing (gary) will replace oit as I buy all my rods and reels there. go back south a bit and run into a riend rom oregon down by dekas rock where he is hitting them pretty good, especially yesterday. I send him up stream where I was and decide to head bck in to get the rod replaced as Big Daddy is coming monday and I will be out again. I stop at Strictly Fishing and show Gary the rod and he asks i I am sure I didn't bend it over and snap it o. He won't replace it o his rack and wants to send it in to berkley meaning a 4-6 week wait, I get upset and leave telling him he can keep it. I ain't going back there anymore, bought 5 reels and a handul o rods plus a bunch o MGM stu and salmon stu since I moved here, but never again. out at 245 pm, airtemp up to 68, water at the ramp to 54, upper McCloud at 52 degrees. didn't see any cruisers today, the pit(lower) and lower squaw creek is a little warmer. Ron Pine came by on his way to the lake so Ron, keep me posted.
