Report: Virtual Dock Talk. 15 spots to 2.87lbs. Best 7 14.47lbs. 3rd place, Division 1, (a run-what-you-brung under 100hp class)New Bass tourney. The sight o twenty Trackers on plane dicing or position at 20mph is better than a sleeping tablet. My partner says tournament sucess is all mental. I was mental when we were deeated by a team in a Zodiac. They towed it on a Home Depot utility trailer kit behind a mint condition baby blue Ford 1600 Anglia. Good anglers, but too weird. I would have been mental about the weather except we nail 5 ish in 5 minutes on spinnerbaits during the heaviest downpour in the early morning. We added a couple more in the next hal hour and then ish came about one per hour in the south ork ater that. A couple on worms.
      City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: Reaction bite despite an intense cold ront? Who'd a thunk? Cold ronts in spawning season slows them down, but i you're willing to wear your arm out casting, ish can be caught on reaction. Worm seem to catch more anytime here.

Report: I've certainly noticed the same thing about the Yamamoto baits. Though they're soft and tantilizing and the fish love 'em, I can't help but think it's part of Yamamoto's grand plan to make them fragile. At about 60 cents a pop, it adds up fast if you're using them all day---which I'll probably be doing, along with a lot of other guys this spring. The quality fish make it worth it, I guess. If someone came up with a kevlar senko and charged $5 a pop for it, we'd still save money. Or something made out of used tires....

Report: After attending the sale at Coyote bait and tackle, I decided to brave the wind and take my daughter out fishing.I was using sencos, and hooked my daughter up with a 7" pumpkin power worm. After she casted , she laid her pole down to run to the car for another jacket....when she returned, FISH ON !!! Although she did'nt land it, she was excited..We fished for 2 hours and did'nt land any...We missed about 5 hits...( Too hard to fish sencos in the gusting wind )
      City: san jose

Tips: I changed to spinnerbaits..4 hits in the last half hour..

Report: Fish have exploded on the scene. My son and I caught 4 bass and 8 crappie ishing 2 hours at Lexington. We used plastic worms and Castiac Plastic Shads to hookem. Fished the scull boat launch ramp and surrounding shore. Released all ish, including 2 bass that went close to 8lbs. Other guys caught several ish. Unortunately they had dinner in mind and kept anything they caught. Time to get the boat tuned up and head out!

Report: Hey was fishing around the bacon island area with senkos on the weekend, did well with bass on the outside of weedbeds. But man, went through like ten senkos in a course of about an hour. The fish were ripping these baits up. Anyone else have the same problems with this bait. Hey just as long as its working its fine with me, I guess I'll just stock up on em. Good luck.
      City: san jose

      Tips: senkos in any color.

      Water Temp: 63-65

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Started off on low tide catching a 5lb and a 4lb in the first 10 minutes, then caught a couple more in the 2lb range. Then stuck a really nice one,7.5, and flaged down a boat so I could get a couple pictures. All of these fish came on black and blue senko's. Tried a blade for about an hour and had no luck, so I went back to using the senko's. Caught about 15 more fish in the 1-3.5lb range, then stuck a 4.5. Then I broke one off on a hookset because I did not retie after catching all of those fish. With about half of an hour of light left I lost one that was 5 to 6lbs, and caught a couple more dinks, under 12in. I fished from dawn till dusk, and stayed near Franks Tract the whole day. Caught somewhere between 20 and 25 fish, with the best 5 going around 25lbs. By far the best day I have ever had.
      City: San Mateo

Tips: Fish inside weedlines in about 1-3 feet of water. All of the fish were on flats that were out of the curent and close to deeper water.
