Report: Got one on a castaic trout a nice 7#'re. That was lucky, the rest on the carolina rig not lucky. Had to work for them but caught several between 1 1/2#'s to 4#'s. Purple was good for me as was a summer moss color in same plastic lure. You gotta figure out the lure. Think big.
      City: Mountain View

Tips: Crankbite starting but its a sparce bite.

Report: My partner and I ished the Fairield/Suisun Bass Reapers club tourny. Fished only Sunday o the 2 day event. Going into Sunday the lead was 4+ lbs. I caught a limit working jigs o big chunk rock piles. My total weight was 12+lbs or 1st place and my partner had 4+lbs or 3rd. Most struggled to catch a limit, only limit caught was mine.
      City: Fairield

Tips: Fish twin tail spider grubs in brown near rock piles. Fish seemed to key on large chunk rocks.

Check water temps where you're ishing it varies quite a bit. Remember to post your reports , no matter how it went. Catch and Release! Don't deplete the rescource.
      City: Aptos

Tips: Jig and pig i you're a good lipper. White spinnerbait i not. Dr. Juice Scent

      Water Temp: 58.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Future Pro yesterday. My partner and I had our oppotunity but blew it. Our two kicker fish broke off 12 lb. test line. (Don't forget to check your line for frays, especially fishing a lake with spots). We were culling fish by 8 am but without a big fish only managed 7.07 lbs. for 5 fish. Started out in Little Portugese Canyon. Found the males in 5' to 10' prepping the beds. Split shotting 6" worms worked for us. Wasted the first hour with spinner and crank baits for zero. If your familiar with Keeper Worms we used 082s with red and blake flake or red and green flake. An 082 is a brown top and lime green bottom worm.
      City: Delhi

Tips: Split shot a 6" worm and work it slow. Look for the line to move off with no hard hit.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: launched out of Holland Tract Marina at 7am and went south. Cranked a rip-rap bank near cruiser haven with no luck. Wind was blowin' hard from the West, so I looked for shelter. Flipped 2 (1.5,2#) on a p-nut butter & jelly reaper with a screw-in rattling bullet weight, on rap & tules outside of Mildred Island. Went to a black and blue jig and flipped a 3.75 in same area. Then cranked 2 (1,2#) on a craw speed trap on a clear rip-rap bank on the south side of Mildred. Finished up with a 2.5# on a black and blue jig in old river. off the water by 2pm. lots of runnin' around.
      City: san jose

Tips: don't let the wind dictate where you fish, use that trolling motor and be persistent. I let the wind tell me where to fish and did not do very well. I do better when I fish the best water I can find regardless. good luck!

Report: Today I fished the back side of the lake near the ranch house from the shoreline. I was there from 8:ooa.m.-9:30a.m. and only caught one fish but it was 4.5 - 5.5 lbs. I had 4 boats and half a dozen float tubers go by in that time and didn't see anyone pull anything in. That one fish sure was nice though.
      City: San Jose

Tips: Don't fish too shallow yet. Red and pumkinseed worms about 20ft off shore has been working for me.
