Report: After I found out DIsco Bay Marina doesn't open until 8am we launched out of Big Break. Fished Little Frank's Tract and caught two 2-3# on baby brush hog and Zipper worm on the North side. Went to the South side and caught a nice 4# on a Rapala rattle trap. Went to Mildred and did more exploring than fishing. Went to Widower Island and caught two 1-2# on plastics. I'll figure this Delta waterway out someday!
      City: Discovery Bay

Tips: Got me, I'm new to this game but having fun exploring.

Report: Launched out of orwood late this afternoon. I thought we were going to catch some fish, but after being out there for a few hours and trying just about everything we finally gave up. Tryed running buzzbaits over weed patches, nothing. Tryed chartruse spinnerbaits around tules and between weed patches, nothing. Tryed flippin watermeleon and junebug brushhogs in and around tules, nothing. Hope it starts heating up soon. There'a always tommorrow.

Tips: Since I ain't catchin nothing, no tips of mine are gonna help anyone. All I can say is keep trying, practice makes perfect!!!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the tules in and around Mildred Isle .. threw most everything in the box and managed to stick 6 fish for 19.9 lbs., which included a 7.6 lb kicker.... all the smaller fish were caught on 4 inch Junebug colored Iovino reapers, with the kicker being caught by dead-sticking a pearl colored Zoom Fluke.. also caught either a brain dead or desperate, not sure which, 2 lb catfish on a chartruse 3/8 oz. spinnerbait, which is a first for me..water muddy and the winds can put your trolling motor battery to the test.... will be going back out on Monday, hopefully winds will have mellowed a little bit by then.... stick em' hard.
      City: Oakley

Tips: I havent quite reached that plateau where Im good enough to be givin' tips, however, those fellas who hang out over at the Hook Line & Sinker have always seemed to give a die hard amateur like me some helpful and friendly advice, so if your in Oakley and ya got yourself some free time, my tip would be to stop in at the hook one afternoon, grab a brew and shoot the fazoo with the regulars

Report: My riend and I went up Sat. With water temp. up rom the last time I went, we thought the ish should be very active. That was not the case or us. We elt it was pretty slow in the morning. At about 11:00 we had about 10 ish, but everything was on worms and nothing on cranks or spinnerbaits. Continued to take a ew ish until about 2:00 when the ish seemed to go on a bite. We took about 15-20 ish in the next 2 hrs. All in all it wasn't a bad day, but the ish seemed to want the bait slow. All came on worms except or three jig ish. Nothing over 2 lbs. and they were in 10-25 eet o water.Good Luck

Report: Fishing wasn't as good as I expected. Only caught about 12 ish. Most were caught on the Fluke. Had one close to 3 lbs.Split shotting only produced small ish. I do have a "One thatgot away story" however. I was back in the 5 mph zone and saw some surace action out in open water. I igured the ish beingchased was a trout by the size o the ish trying to escape. The wake behind the trout was quite large. I put the trolling motor on high and got a cast with the Fluke in the general area. That big ish ate it on the irst cast. I saw part o the ishand it had a large proile. The ish surged twice and came o.It was a bummer I lost the ish, but it was still a cool experience.Keep your eyes peeled and keep your trout baits handy.
      City: Fresno

Tips: The bite should improve as the water clears and the weather warms.Keep throwin the Fluke.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: the weather has been great the past week unortunately the ishing has been real slow, I ished the Sac arm all week and only managed 2 ish per day per 4-5 hour outing, many others report the same. The WON tournament 1st day results had the leader with a little over 12 lbs or 5 ish anchored with a 7 1/3 lb ish. The average was about 6-7 lbs or ive ish, not to good. the lake level is coming up slowly at 1/2 to a oot per day which will help things in two to three weeks, no rip bite, just mostly jigs and worms worked slowly in 25-35 t o water. The warmest water is in the Sac arm now in the O'brien Inlet, ound some up to 58 degrees at 1-2pm, the spot spawn should kick o around 60 degrees, rain is expected on Monday with good weather to ollow.
