We were trolling on the surace with a lot o line out and no weight. In the next hour and a hal she reeled in our more trout up to two lbs each on the same lure trolling the same areas near the dam. She also had one on the trout colored lure but they liked the shad alot better.

Report: I go near the end o the creek..casting weightless lukes(white or white and a dark color with some "kickin' Bass" Garlic stu..That sh*t stinks!!), ishing it like a jerk bait in the stickups and in shady overhangs. I make my hooks bareless because the bass swallow the bait beore I know it and get hooked deep. best time is like all bass..sring into early summer beore it gets too hot. My bite has been ending around 11am , picking back up at 6ish.There are not any stripers in the creek reservoir, only San Luis and the orebay..to the best o my knowledge

      Water Temp: 67-72 degrees F

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the lake today or the irst time in a while. Motored over to Harry's cove and immediately got about an 8 inch bass on a pumpkin/green lake 4 inch Senko. That was it or the rest o the day with the exception o a ew more strikes in the same area on other Senko colors. I was basically ishing 3 colors o Senkos and some cranks the whole day. Not a whole lot o action on the lake today, so I heard and observed, nor did I see as many bass as usually. Water was a little dirtier than usual, but was a nice temp the whole day. All o the ish I came across were tucked back in the tulles in response to the wind. Hope to be back out in a week or two, and will certainly post again. Good ishing to all.
      City: Pleasant Hill

Tips: My best bet would be pitching senkos or brush hogs in the shallows and cranking along the deeper weedlines. Spinnerbaits could also work, along with rigs like a drop-shot or split-shot or the weedlines as well.

Report: Rob, I catch and release all ish except an occasional striper. What size o ish are you catching? Are you getting most o your ish on plastics? What part o the lake is best this time o year? I will give the lake another try here in a week or two and I will post another report. Have you ever caught any there on a big swim bait?

Report: OROVILLE AFTERBAY..........NOT Lake Oroville. This has turned into an annual day trip as I would never go to any o the big lakes on this weekend. What makes this one so good is that there is no camping and everyone has to be o the water at nightall so we arrive with no one on the water. Started o with blades through the grass and points and nothing was happening so swithed to a buzzbait and everything started to happen! First ish came on second cast and it was a healthy 4+ ollowed by a twin about 3 casts later. Once the topwater turned o, went to Senkos and continued catching nice, nice bass. Ran into another bass isherman who said he had tried to go to Oroville and both ramps were closed due to ull capacity. He suggested wacky style Senko ishing and worked that around tules with more and more nice bass. Terriic day and i you plan on ishing this impoundment, call (530) 534-2307which is the Oroville water resourse and they will tell you about levels and listen or aterbay level and i it is 130 (above sealevel) or higher, hit it. Lower than 128 and you have a problem getting to the back area which holds nice tule patches. Great place or ishing using vertually every presentation.
      City: Wheatland

Tips: White buzzbaits worked over grass lats and any type point. Senkos in and around tules and lipping jigs deep in the tules. No real pattern, they were hitting everything.

Report: Launched out o Holland with my partner Dave "The Sarg" Sargenti. Fished a ew berms that were close by with Senkos and Trick worms and boated about 8 to about 4lbs, Went to Quimby, Mildred Island and Empire cut pretty much ollowing the same pattern and boated another dozen or so, nothing big, but still un. Last we just ished right o o Old River and caught another 8 or so all on senkos and Trick Worms. We really couldn't seem to do much on reaction baits all day, ish bit real light and weren't aggressive at all. We ended up with about 30 or the day.
